UAE Transport AI Logistics Calculator: Workload Scenarios

Test the assumptions, not the label. Compare three hypothetical document-processing scenarios against the same visible manual baseline.

What is actually being calculated

The baseline is 100 document jobs at six minutes each: 600 minutes. Each scenario adds per-job assisted handling time to extra review time for exceptions. The difference from 600 minutes is an arithmetic result under those assumptions.

There is no AI model, live prediction, connected document system or data-entry form. These are worked workload examples, not performance claims or a forecast for your business.

Read the model boundary

The examples assume comparable output quality and count only the handling and additional exception-review times shown. They exclude setup, integration, training, licensing, monitoring and other overhead. They do not estimate money, carrier rates, arrival times or customs outcomes.

Measure the baseline and the assisted workflow using a representative sample before adapting this method. Include failed cases, corrections and the work performed by reviewers.

Use evidence before making a decision

NIST’s AI Risk Management Framework provides a voluntary reference for evaluating trustworthiness and managing AI-related risk. A useful pilot also needs an operational owner, an error process and conditions for stopping.

Read the shipping AI guide for the distinction between calculations, predictions and generated text. For package dimensions and illustrative freight arithmetic, use the separate shipping calculator. These tools answer different questions.

Predefined scenarios. Every assumption stays visible.

HYPOTHETICAL • NOT MEASURED PERFORMANCE

Review-heavy workload

Illustrative assisted workload600 min
Baseline
100 × 6 = 600 min
Extra review
25 × 8 min
Arithmetic difference
0 min (0%)
(100 × 4 min) + (25 × 8 min) = 600 minutes

Assumes 4 minutes of assisted handling per job and 25 exception reviews, each requiring eight additional minutes. The baseline is the same in all three examples.

No AI model is running. Assumes comparable output quality. Excludes setup, training, integration, licensing, monitoring and other overhead. Differences are not forecasts or claims of achievable savings.

HYPOTHETICAL • NOT MEASURED PERFORMANCE

Balanced workload example

Illustrative assisted workload380 min
Baseline
100 × 6 = 600 min
Extra review
10 × 8 min
Arithmetic difference
220 min (36.7%)
(100 × 3 min) + (10 × 8 min) = 380 minutes

Assumes 3 minutes of assisted handling per job and 10 exception reviews, each requiring eight additional minutes.

Cleaner-inputs assumption

Illustrative assisted workload240 min
Baseline
100 × 6 = 600 min
Extra review
5 × 8 min
Arithmetic difference
360 min (60%)
(100 × 2 min) + (5 × 8 min) = 240 minutes

Assumes 2 minutes of assisted handling per job and 5 exception reviews, each requiring eight additional minutes. The baseline is the same in all three examples.

No AI model is running. Assumes comparable output quality. Excludes setup, training, integration, licensing, monitoring and other overhead. Differences are not forecasts or claims of achievable savings.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you make your next move.

Are the time savings measured?

No. They are differences calculated from explicitly hypothetical assumptions and should not be treated as expected results.

Why can a scenario show no time advantage?

Additional review can offset faster first-pass handling. That is why exception rates and review effort belong in the calculation.
